Medallia buys LivingLens for $26m

US – Experience management company, Medallia, has bought video feedback platform LivingLens for $26m in cash.

The acquisition is expected to close in February 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.

LivingLens was founded in 2014 in Liverpool by Carl Wong (pictured) and David Woods – it now has offices in London, New York and Toronto. Its video intelligence platform transforms video signals to speech, emotion and sentiment, for customer and employee insight.

Wong, chief executive officer for LivingLens, said: “Hospitality, travel, retail, consumer goods, auto, technology, financial services and telecommunications companies all use video feedback to better understand their product, customer and employee experiences in live-time.
