US— M3 USA, the owner of medical market research agency MDLinx, has agreed a deal to buy European-based healthcare research firm EMS Research.
The deal will create the “largest verified provider of physicians and other healthcare professionals in the world”, M3 USA said, with access offered to 1.3 million doctors and other healthcare workers differentiated into more than 700 sub-specialities.
M3 USA chief executive officer Aki Tomaru (pictured) said: “Europe was the missing component in our market research global coverage strategy.”
The new “international division”, comprising MDLinx, EMS Research and M3 companies across Asia, will be renamed M3 Global Research and have offices in the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Korea and China.
