McLeod returns to Kantar as UK head of media

UK – Kantar has appointed Richard McLeod as head of media – UK to lead its work on how consumers engage with media and advertising.

McLeod (pictured) was senior client and strategy director at MetrixLab and before that, commercial director at Netfluential.

Up until 2018, McLeod worked at Kantar, most recently as chief commercial officer for Kantar’s business in Indonesia.

In his new role at Kantar, McLeod will help businesses enhance their media spend using insights from marketing tracking tools and help businesses adjust to the removal of third-party cookies.

Amy Cashman, executive managing director, insights division, UK and Ireland at Kantar, said: “It’s fantastic to have Richard back in the fold at such a dynamic time for the industry.

“Businesses need a full picture of what’s happening in different markets to know how best to target and measure their campaigns. Richard’s extensive experience makes him well placed to give clients exactly that.”
