The WBC is the US’s leading authority working to accelerate equal power, position and pay for women in business. WBC has convened more than 500 senior executives, global corporations, entrepreneurs and other key stakeholders, as well as more than 60 partner organisations, to accelerate the movement “faster together”.

WBC’s global advisory council will focus on growing the impact of WBC around the world. Frankum, together with her fellow co-chairs, has responsibility to expand WBC’s mission into Europe. She will focus on building a strong network of senior female executives and developing support infrastructure and promotional activities to achieve equal power, position and pay for women in business.

Commenting on WBC’s mission, Frankum said: “The impact of Covid has negatively set gender parity back by a whole generation. The nine, action-focused Initiatives of Acceleration, supporting everything from sponsorship of women CEOs to driving access to capital for female entrepreneurs and ensuring women are represented in the leadership pipeline, have never been more important.

“WBC is an unprecedented alliance of over one million men and women, passionately committed to achieving a vision of equal position, pay and power for all women in business; it’s an honour to be part of this leading global movement.”
