US/UK — Healthcare market access specialist Access Partnership has appointed Kevin Mayo as executive vice president in the US while Pascal King takes up the role of global director in the UK.
Mayo (pictured top) has spent 17 years working in the life science industry in leadership roles across blue-chip pharma and healthcare consulting. He is also an adjunct faculty member for the graduate pharmaceutical business programme at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and as a lecturer for the Applied Health Outcomes Research Programme at Jefferson School of Population Health.
King (pictured bottom), meanwhile, has held positions in market access with Novartis and Biovail (now Valeant), specialising in the development of patient access schemes in ophthalmology, oncology, CNS and inflammation. In 2011, he joined the Bristol Myers-Squibb Europe Market Access Cardiovascular team to lead the launch, in partnership with Pfizer, of the oral anti-coagulant Eliquis.
Access Partnership has also hired Thalia Nikoglou and Ahmed Edathodu as consultants. Edathodu is a former consultant at Double Helix Consulting.
