CANADA – Consumer intelligence firm, Maru/Matchbox has established a quarterly study measuring cannabis to identify factors affecting the cannabis industry.
The Cannabis Chronicle, first fielded in December 2018, is conducted among those Canadian citizens, as well as people living in US states where cannabis is legal for recreational consumption.
It will look at consumption patterns, changing perceptions and attitudes, brand awareness, consideration and satisfaction, among other things.
Kyle Davies, senior vice-president and head of syndicated offerings at Maru/Matchbox, said: “The cannabis industry is undergoing rapid transformation, so understanding evolving consumer attitudes and sentiment will be vital to success in an evolving landscape.”
