MarketShare to acquire performance measurement agency MarketingNPV

US— Marketing analytics agency MarketShare has struck a deal to acquire MarketingNPV, a firm specialising in measuring marketing performance.

MarketingNPV’s services include tools and processes to measure, benchmark and improve marketing performance and help clients anticipate the economic impact of any changes to strategy or tactics.

MarketShare co-CEO Jon Vein (pictured) said: “We have entered the age of transparency, where advanced analytics and decision support are no longer a ‘nice to have’ – they are now a ‘need to have.’ MarketingNPV’s innovative measurement solutions and software enable superior decision making capabilities for clients.”

Pat LaPointe, managing partner at MarketingNPV said: “MarketShare is the ideal fit for us because together we can deliver better marketing effectiveness insights from across the spectrum of measurement needs to help organisations to make smarter resource allocation decisions.”

LaPointe will step into the new role of MarketShare’s EVP for the Americas once the deal is complete, and MarketingNPV partner Cheridy Bell will become a senior vice president at MarketShare.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
