LRW acquires infographics agency Killer

US – Market research company Lieberman Research Worldwide (LRW Group) has acquired visual communication agency Killer Infographics for an undisclosed sum.

The move marks the sixth acquisition for LRW as it looks to establish what it calls a ‘consultative data analytics and marketing services firm’.

Last year, the company bought insights and strategy company Kelton and customer experience and culture design firm Strativity Group.

Founded in 2010, Killer’s services include motion graphics, interactive experiences, print design and data visualisation, working with clients including Adobe, Amazon and Microsoft. Following the acquisition, it will operate under Kelton, as a member company of LRW Group, but will continue to be based in its Seattle headquarters.

Dave Sackman, group chief executive at LRW Group, described Killer Infographics as “one of the best storytellers in the visual communication space” and credited the company’s “ability to translate the most complex data stories into clear, informative and creative visuals”.

Tom Bernthal, chief executive of Kelton Global, said: “The team from Killer Infographics will play a key role in expanding Kelton’s design resources, creating compelling visual stories that inspire empathy, authentic connection, and actionable change.”
