CANADA – Research and polling firm Leger and tech startup B-CITI have announced a partnership to offer a platform aimed at improving the connection between residents and their cities.
The tie-up will integrate Leger Metrics, Leger’s real-time resident feedback solution, into the B-CITI platform. B-CITI is a smart city application that connects systems, centralises data and digitises resident services.
Combining the two will develop digital services for residents, such as users’ personal profiles, resident consultation, and emergency alerts.
The partnership will also measure residents’ satisfaction via an interactive dashboard and provide dissatisfaction alerts in real time.
Leger has worked with over 100 cities in Quebec to provide customer feedback on municipal services through Leger Metrics, its Municipal Indicator and a Relative Happiness Index.
Vivianne Gravel, president, chief executive and founder of B-CITI Solutions, said: “[The partnership] contributes to our vision of developing innovations that efficiently use new information and communications technologies to bring residents closer to their city and to collaborate in improving urban living.”
