Gray, formerly sales director (pictured), will lead the UK business alongside current managing director Helga Slater.

The two will report to Product of the Year Management global chief executive Mike Nolan.

Prior to joining Product of the Year in 2024, Gray was business development director at Catalyx.

The company has also promoted Niamh Rogers from sales and marketing coordinator to sales and marketing manager.

Global chief executive Mike Nolan said: “The UK arm of Product of the Year is going from strength to strength, and these promotions reflect both our growth and the talent within our team. David has played a key role in driving commercial success and building brand partnerships, while Niamh’s energy, creativity and drive make her integral to our operations.”

The UK Product of the Year survey takes place annually, with the research conducted by Kantar. The scheme runs in over 40 countries globally.
