US — Three months on from their merger, mobile app marketing and analytics firms Kontagent and PlayHaven have rebranded as Upsight.
Alongside the name change, the company has also launched a unified app analytics and marketing platform, which is being made available on a freemium basis.
The merged platform is a combination of both companies’ prior specialisms: while Kontagent dealt mainly in mobile app analytics, PlayHaven worked with developers to support user acquisition, engagement and monetisation strategies.
PlayHaven boss, now Upsight CEO, Andy Yang (pictured) said: “We formed Upsight because we believe app developers needed one solution to help them bridge the gap from analysis to action. We think it takes an enterprise-grade analytics and marketing platform to do this – and we’re rolling out a free way for every developer to get these tools.”
