US – Healthcare insight firm KJT Group has promoted Michaela Gascon to chief executive and president, after the company’s founder decided to step back from the day-to-day business.
Gascon (pictured) was previously the company’s chief operating officer and president, having worked for the company since 2007.
She will replace Kenneth Tomaszewski, founder of KJT Group, as chief executive. Tomaszewski will retain his role as chairman at the company.
KJT Group focuses on evidence-based decision-making and research for biotech, health services, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Tomaszewski said: “I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished since our inception, individually and as a team. It’s really an example of hard work, strong ethics and aiming for an ever-better approach, while never taking things for granted.
“Michaela is a fantastic leadership choice to continue this incredible story, and I am so excited to work with her in my new role, certainly more on the side lines for me, and see what our team can do together amid the market’s new challenges, under her leadership.”
