Kantar changes leader for US media division

US – Data, insights and consulting firm, Kantar, has appointed Pete Rumpel as chief executive officer, media division, North America.

Rumpel (pictured) takes over from Manish Bhatia who has been named, chief product officer, media division, Kantar.

Rumpel was previously chief revenue officer and managing partner for tech research and consulting firm, ABI Research. During his career, he has held a variety of global sales, marketing, business development, client success and product development roles including with SAP, Rosetta Stone and Gartner.

Reed Cundiff, North American CEO of Kantar, said: “Pete’s executive leadership and deep experience in B2B and consumer syndicated research, as well as in data and consulting offerings is ideal for bringing the vision we have for the Kantar media division to fruition.”
