UK – Marketing insights and consulting firm, Kantar, has made Nathalie Burdet its new chief marketing officer, replacing Mandy Pooler who is retiring.
Burdet (pictured) – who will now join the board – moves from her current position as global marketing leader of Kantar’s Insights division.
She has previously worked in senior marketing leadership roles across the fintech industry, including at NEX Group and Thomson Reuters.
In addition, Ignasi Fernandez – who previously led marketing for Kantar Worldpanel – has been appointed global marketing leader for Kantar’s Insights division. Ignasi has been with Kantar for the past 20 years.
He is joined on Nathalie’s leadership team by Dionne Aitken, newly appointed as global marketing leader for Kantar’s Profiles (formerly Lightspeed) division. Prior to Kantar, Aitken was global customer marketing director for Monotype.
Eric Salama, CEO, Kantar said: “Since joining Kantar in 2018 Nathalie has had a great impact on how we present ourselves to clients and ensuring a more valuable client experience. I look forward to her extending that impact across all of Kantar and bringing our new brand strategy to life. It is also particularly important to me that two of the announcements we are making today have been filled with the best people by promoting from within.”
