UK – Market research agency Join the Dots has made two new additions to its online community platform.
‘Scout’ is a tool to collect photo, video and web content, designed for use in purchase journeys, customer experiences, product testing and segmentation or lifestyle research.
‘Project’ allows the creation of pop-up communities within an existing online community, and has been launched for the purpose of expert or niche audience research and co-creation.
Andy Buckley, innovations director at Join the Dots, said: "Scout reflects how people use tools like Instagram to share photo and video content rather than using traditional online forums."
Commenting on the ‘Project’ tool, he said it offers: "all the benefits of a large community panel with the added ability to create intimate, collaborative spaces when required."
