Ipsos UK and Ireland CEO gains MBE
Beaver (pictured) has worked at Ipsos for more than ten years and was a key part of the React study tracking Covid-19’s prevalence across England.
In addition to her work on Covid-19, Beaver has worked on projects covering subjects such as Brexit, public policy and vaccines.
Beaver holds several honorary positions in academia and the voluntary sector, including fellow of the UK Academy for Social Sciences, board member at the Campaign for Social Science and visiting senior research fellow for King’s College London.
The Queen’s Birthday Honours list this year coincided with Her Majesty’s platinum jubilee, marking her 70th year on the throne.
Beaver said of the award: “It is overwhelming and humbling to receive this MBE, it’s an incredible honour which highlights the impact that the research industry can have on society, especially in response to the pandemic.
“I’d like to thank Her Majesty, the Queen for this honour, as well as everyone at Ipsos for their incredible commitment and hard work.”
