SINGAPORE— Ipsos has acquired Vietnamese MR agency Consumer Behavior & Insight for an undisclosed amount as part of its plan to grow across the Asia Pacific region.
CBI was launched in 1998 and employs 70 full time staff at its offices in Ho Ci Minh City and Hanoi. As a result of the Ipsos acquisition, CBI partner Nguyen Minh Tan (pictured) has been named as Ipsos managing director for Vietnam.
Ipsos’s existing Vietnamese operations will be merged with CBI in early 2012.
Grant Bertoli, Ipsos CEO for southeast Asia, said: “As a respected local company with talented people and strong client relationships, CBI provides a foundation that we can leverage and combine with Ipsos’s leading specialist approaches.”
