US— Invoke Solutions, a provider of online and mobile research technology and services, has appointed Basil Bennett as its new chief executive officer.
Basil Bennett
He replaces Ben Cesare in the role, who left the company earlier this year and is now working as a consultant in the technology sector.
Bennett’s background is rooted largely in the technology industry, having previously been president and CEO at water treatment technology firm TLC Envirotech, and CEO of frozen food company Archibald Brothers International.
Earlier in his career he was CEO at venture capital group Willow CSN and group president at relationship management agency Convergys Corporation. He also served for five years in the US Army.
Bennett is well-known to Invoke’s main investor Bain Capital Ventures. MD Mike Krupka, chairman of Invoke, said: “We have worked with Basil for years on different projects and we are pleased that he has joined one of our portfolio companies as the CEO.”
