Brainch was previously head of utilities. its previous managing director and co-founder, Darryl Swift, will now become chief executive officer.

Swift will focus on growth and client relationships, internationally and said: “Michael fully deserves the appointment of managing director. He’s done a fantastic job when heading the utilities division, both in leading by example and by nurturing and developing our key accounts.  I’m sure he’ll replicate this success across Impact Research.”

The restructure also involves creating distinct business units to better service its clients.  Stuart Grant heads consumer, Dawn Mulvey is being promoted to head of utilities, Monika Swift leads the new generation unit and Jamie Margerison manages healthcare.
