UK – Marketing technology and big data company Clicksco has appointed Gary Hsueh as its new director, following an investment from his private equity firm Catapult Capital.
Hsueh (pictured, left) co-founded San Francisco-based Catapult Capital alongside Michael Levit and Rick Marini in 2016. Prior to that, he was vice-president and global head of search partnerships at Yahoo, where he worked with Clicksco as a partner.
The size of Catapult’s investment in Clicksco has not been disclosed. Hsueh will also join the company’s board.
In his role as director, Hsueh will look to strengthen and support the company’s position in the West Coast technology market.
John Rowe, chairman of Clicksco (pictured, right), said: “While we have made some strides in North America, we knew bringing in a partner, that shared our values and ambitions, would help us achieve so much more. This investment of funds and expertise will help make our prominence on the map even greater and we’re excited at what the future in the US market looks like.”
