US – Media services agency Horizon Media has launched UNCVR, its specialist practice focused on virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR) and 360 immersive storytelling.
UNCVR will be led by Sarah Bachman, vice-president, mobile strategy, and Monika Ratner, director, social Strategy. They will report to Horizon’s chief digital officer, Donnie Williams.
The agency is partnering with STXsurreal, a division of STX Entertainment, to develop the content.

OmniVirt, a 360 video and virtual reality advertising platform will be behind the ad tech side of UNCVR. As part of the partnership,OmniVirt and UNCVR will create unique ad products as well as a curated VR and 360 network exclusively for clients.
