Havas SE France appoints new COO

FRANCE — Former Coca-Cola marketing executive Michel Gotlib has been hired by Havas Sports & Entertainment (Havas SE) as its chief operating officer.

Gotlib will be in charge of the daily management and development of the agency alongside CEO Gilles Portelle. 

He has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing and communications, and spent 20 years with The Coca-Cola Company. He joined the soft drinks giant in 1988 as head of sponsorship and partnerships for France. He went on to hold a number of different roles and most recently, he was director of marketing communications for North West Europe and the Nordics until 2011. 

For the past four years, Gotlib has worked as a consultant.
