GuestMetrics now says management to stay in place

US— CEO Brian Barrett and COO Tammy Posten have not left GuestMetrics, despite a statement issued by the company earlier this week in which they were said to have resigned.

As Research reported yesterday, the company originally announced that David Lovatt had been appointed president and CEO of GuestMetrics after acquiring a controlling interest in the company, and that he had “accepted the resignation of the current management team”.

However, in a new statement GuestMetrics said it has now formed a new holding company called GuestTek, of which Lovatt is CEO.

GuestMetrics, a provider of customer insight tools to the hospitality industry, will operate as a subsidiary of the holding company, and both Barrett and Posten will remain in their roles.

Barrett said: “Tammy and I are very much committed to the continued success of the GuestMetrics and BarMetrics brands and we look forward to increasing shareholder value with Dave Lovatt and his team.”

Again, despite repeated attempts, Research could not reach anyone at GuestMetrics for further comment.
