US— Tech industry veteran David Lovatt has taken over as president and CEO of GuestMetrics after acquiring a controlling interest in the company, which specialises in customer insight solutions for the hospitality industry.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the current GuestMetrics management team – including president and CEO Brian Barrett and COO Tammy Posten – will leave the firm after resigning their positions.
Lovatt has held positions with “some of Europe’s leading technology companies” over the past decade, according to a statement announcing the deal.
He said: “I am very excited to use my decade of experience to help GuestMetrics expand its opportunities on a more global scale. We are thrilled at the accomplishments we have already fulfilled and have plenty to achieve. We look forward to future acquisitions that will help the growth of the company.”
GuestMetrics could not be reached for further comment at the time of publication.
