Graduates join Vision Critical intern programme

CANADA— Vision Critical has taken on 12 client services associates as part of its 2010 intern programme.

The interns are graduates from US or Canadian colleges who have degrees in marketing, research, sociology or business. The interns will be salaried and will be rotated around the company to gain a “well rounded view” of different research and panel functions, the firm said.

They will also be required to deliver a five-minute presentation on one of the firm’s research capabilities and keep a regular blog detailing their experiences during the year-long programme.

Jennifer Reid (pictured), senior vice president of strategy, said: “We need a programme to support our growth and foster future innovators and business leaders. We have hand-picked a group who are all highly educated, refreshingly confident and professional. My goal is to open their eyes to the creative opportunities of market research and to get them excited about delivering consumer insights in new and innovative ways.”
