US – Nielsen-owned content and tech company Gracenote has launched an analytics solution for mobile video streaming applications.
The service will offer insights on the quality and performance of mobile video streaming applications, reporting performance metrics by wireless/internet service provider and content type.
Video services, mobile operators and manufacturers will be able to assess how video performance quality impacts subscribers’ experience and retention rates on their platforms.
Mike Greenawald, senior vice-president for connectivity at Gracenote, said: “Gracenote Mobile Video Analytics identifies the key video performance factors that enable customers to gain a competitive edge and make more informed business decisions.”
