Accenture to buy Maryville Consulting Group
Based in St. Louis, Missouri and founded in 1994, Maryville Consulting Group’s services focus on growth strategy, digital operations and technology business management.
The company’s framework assists businesses with their technology transformation through the adoption of processes, responsibilities, governance, funding models and measurements.
It is also developing a specialisation in advising digital infrastructure firms to support investment prioritisation, cost transparency, and operational scale, in the context of AI adoption.
Following the acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, Maryville Consulting Group will become part of Accenture in North America, with its 100 employees joining the company.
Accenture said the acquisition would expand its position in the technology strategy market and help to evolve its reinvention and product operations capabilities.
Keith Boone, tech strategy and advisory Americas lead at Accenture, said: “This acquisition is a strategic step in our ongoing commitment to expanding our technology and digital transformation capabilities in order to help clients extract maximum value from their technology investments.
“Maryville Consulting Group’s deep expertise in tech strategy and digital operations, combined with its strong partnerships and client relationships, will significantly enhance our ability to help clients leverage technology as a competitive advantage and drive technology value to achieve business goals.”
Joey Blomker, managing director at Maryville Consulting Group, said: “Our clients will benefit from Accenture’s global platform and deep capabilities, while still receiving the hands-on, outcome-driven service that has always defined our firm.”
