Google Cloud to invest $750m in partners’ AI development

The investment aims to support agentic AI development, adoption and education within Google Cloud’s global partner ecosystem.
There are around 120,000 partners, including major consultancies and so-called ‘systems integrators’ responsible for implementing agentic AI systems for their clients.
Google Cloud’s fund will support efforts including agentic AI prototyping, agent building and upskilling. New resources and tools will include AI value assessments, Gemini proofs-of-concept, agentic AI deployment and usage incentives.
As part of the move, partners including Accenture, Bain & Company, BCG, Deloitte and McKinsey, will also receive ‘early access’ to Gemini models. According to Google Cloud, their feedback will be used to refine the systems.
"Google Cloud’s partners are already leaders in agentic AI development and deployment, and have become important channels for distributing AI technologies. With this expanded funding, we will be able to dedicate new resources and technology to support our partners as they accelerate our mutual customers’ agentic AI journeys," said Kevin Ichhpurani, president, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud.
