News

GERMANY— GfK expects to report revenue growth of around 11% for 2010, beating expectations.

The agency’s revenue rose to €1.29bn from €1.16bn in the previous year, according to preliminary figures, with organic growth of around 7%.

At the start of the year GfK was expecting a revenue increase of just 3%, following a tough 2009 in which it suffered a 4.6% decline.

It also improved its operating margin from 12.6% to 14%, with adjusted operating income of around €180m.

The firm’s preliminary results for the year will be published on 25 February, with final results to follow in March.
