Gazelle brings in ex-Globalpark exec for insights and strategy role

US — Gazelle Global, a global market research operations, sample and data management company, has appointed Jim Whaley as general manager of insights and strategy, a new position.

    Jim brings over 25 years of experience in the market research industry, combining extensive research and technology skills with strong management skills to build more value-focused relationships between the business, and Gazelle customers and partners.
  • Over the course of his career, Jim has held various positions in operations, strategic account management, and sales operations leadership in large global and medium-sized research and technology companies. Prior to joining Gazelle, Jim was a founder and co-owner of Globalpark, Inc., a North American panel and community solutions platform. His other entrepreneurial endeavours include: TWG, Inc., a full service research firm, and founding partner of G3Translate, a language translation firm. Jim also held positions at IBM, SPSS and InfoStep.
  • Jim is an experienced industry and motivational speaker and has presented at industry events on research industry trends, strategy, and innovation.

“Jim is an industry veteran who has delivered both innovative solutions for his clients, and strong results for his partners and employers consistently for over 20 years as this industry has seen dramatic change” said Anne Brown, CEO of Gazelle.

Jim will be responsible for sales, marketing, client services, and product development. He will be responsible for corporate strategy formulation and execution as well as profitable revenue growth and further penetration of the company’s products and services into existing and targeted new clients.
