BRAZIL— Ignacio Galceran is set to join TNS as CEO for Latin America following his impending departure from Synovate, which was announced yesterday.
Galceran leaves Synovate at the end of the month and will join TNS in mid-October. He officially takes up his regional leadership role from 1 January, replacing Wnder Meijer, who is moving to an as-yet-unspecified role elsewhere within TNS.
Meijer has spent the past four years heading up TNS operations in Latin America. Galceran, meanwhile, has been with Synovate for the past eight years, latterly as CEO for Iberia and Latin America. Before that he worked for Roper ASW, which is now part of GfK.
Galceran’s new role sees him relocating from Miami to Sao Paulo, Brazil. He will report to TNS global CEO Pedro Ros.
At Synovate, Galceran will be replaced by Enrique Domingo, whose promotion was reported yesterday.
