Synovate promotes Iberia MD to regional CEO

US— Synovate has promoted Enrique Domingo, its managing director for Iberia, to CEO of Iberia and Latin America, replacing Ignacio Galceran.

Galceran is set to leave Synovate at the end of the month. He has been CEO for Latin America since 2007 and took on additional responsibility for Iberia soon after. His future plans are unknown.

Domingo (pictured) joined Synovate in 2002 after selling his company, INNER Strategic Research, to the global research group.

He is credited with developing the foundation of Synovate’s Latin American business by opening the company’s first offices in Brazil and Argentina.

Domingo will continue to be based in Madrid.
