FreshMinds melds research and social arms to form new consultancy

M&A

UK — FreshMinds Research has merged with sister company FreshNetworks, a social business consultancy, to form a new “growth and innovation consultancy”, called FreshMinds.

The merger has been in the pipeline for the past six months, said CEO and co-founder Caroline Plumb.

“By taking the best of traditional insight and fusing it with the huge wealth of digital, social and mobile client and enterprise data that’s out there, we’re able to provide our clients with a broader and more relevant set of services,” she wrote in a blog post.

Plumb set up the FreshMinds and FreshNetworks businesses with Charlie Osmond in 2000 and 2007 respectively. Although Osmond is no longer involved in day-to-day management of the business, he remains an advisor.

Rounding out the new FreshMinds leadership team is deputy managing director Helen Trim, director of consulting Catherine Crump and digital director Matt Rhodes.
