The addition of the new board members follows the earlier appointment of Jonathan Lepisto as board president for the non-profit organisation.

Stan Sthanunathan, formerly executive vice-president of consumer market insights at Unilever (pictured), is chief executive at i-Genie.AI. Prior to joining Unilever, he was vice-president of marketing strategy and insights for The Coca-Cola Company. He has also been a patron of the Market Research Society (MRS) and a board member of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF).

Bacon is head of consumer insights at Zaxby’s and lectures on research practices at Savannah College of Art and Design and the University of Georgia.

Gross is chief customer officer at Suzy, with a background including roles at Mintel, Stylus, Cint and Toluna.

Finn Raben is currently an independent consultant, having previously been director general of Esomar and held leadership roles at Synovate and TNS.

MRII said in a statement: “As the organisation continues its commitment to advance market research education globally, these additions bring a wealth of industry expertise and diverse perspectives.”
