US— Nunwood has hired former US presidential advisor Alan Bergstrom as head of brand and communications strategy as it continues to grow in North America.

Bergstrom (pictured) is a former personal advisor to Ronald Reagan, responsible for delivering daily briefings to the president on security and foreign policy matters.

He then moved on to found his own branding agency, The Brand Consultancy, where he led as CEO. He was recently North American vice president for global consultancy Beyond Philosophy.

Nunwood chief strategy officer David Conway said: “Alan’s appointment continues our recruitment of high-end executives across our business. I am confident his leadership of our brand strategy function will make a significant difference to what we offer in this area.”
