Former Ipsos India leader joins i-Genie

Adarkar led Ipsos in India for 11 years. His career also includes senior leadership roles at MarketProbe, MarketGate Dimensions and Nielsen Bases.
At i-Genie, Adarkar will join the company’s leadership to help steer its AI‑based insights platform.
i-Genie was founded in 2022 by former Unilever executives Stan Sthanunathan and Paul van Gendt. The business uses AI and NLP techniques to collect data from online searches, social media and video, and product reviews, and works with clients including Coca-Cola and Danone.
Through its India entity, led by Adarkar, the company is looking to drive expansion across India, the Middle East and the Asia‑Pacific region. India is already a hub for the company’s client success, engineering, data science and analytics teams.
Trevor Sumner, chief executive, i‑Genie.ai, said: “Amit’s leadership experience across India, Apac and the Middle East, combined with his deep passion for AI‑driven transformation, will accelerate our momentum as we scale across the region.
“He will play a critical role in strengthening our global footprint and in helping clients unlock the full value of always‑on intelligence.”
