CANADA— Online research agency Vision Critical has appointed former Apple marketing manager Steven Davis to the newly created position of director of product innovation.
Davis (pictured), who also used to be a director of Kantar Worldpanel, will be responsible for developing technology to create and manage online surveys.
Jason Smith, Vision Critical’s president of product innovation, said: “Steve is the perfect fit for our innovation team. His technology DNA combined with international marketing and research experience are ideally aligned with our company and the products we bring to market. Steve will be instrumental in our efforts to make research better.”
Davis arrives as the firm prepares to launch five new products over the spring and summer, including the Firefly Surveys tool which is billed as the world’s first collaborative ad-hoc survey tool for enterprise researchers.
