Focus Pointe Global says the deal will expand its operation to 19 research facilities across the States. The company also plans to move its current location in Santa Monica to Trotta’s facility in Los Angeles during the first quarter of 2018.

Trotta’s research database will add to Focus Pointe Global’s qualitative panel, which has 1.6 million members, primarily in the Southern Californian market.

Trotta Associates Diane Trotta said the firm’s clients would benefit from Focus Pointe Global's “expansive suite of service offerings and national locations".

Following the acquisition, the management team will continue to be led by Laura Livers, chief executive of Focus Pointe Global (pictured).

Livers said the "combined talent and geographic footprint" resulting from the deal would allow for broader research choices for the company’s current and future client base.
