Financial leader joins Echo Research
Thomas (pictured) has three decades of senior financial leadership in media, communications and commercial roles.
He was deputy group chief financial officer at Dentsu International between 2021 and 2023. During his career, he has also held roles at Warner Music, CBS Outdoor, and Polygram, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and business transformation.
Thomas takes up the role with immediate effect. He will work with Echo’s board and chief executive Sandra Macleod to strengthen financial planning and operational readiness as the company continues to grow.
The appointment follows Echo's acquisition of Reputation Dividend in 2024 and the appointment of a new commercial director earlier this year.
Echo’s work includes running the Britain’s Most Admired Companies study, a survey of corporate reputation among UK peers and analysts, for the London Stock Exchange.
‘Fractional’ professionals work on a part-time basis, with this type of working becoming better established in marketing and insights.
