Field Locker creates community of adult carers

The community has been developed in partnership with a UK care organisation and will provide users with access to 50,000 people with experience of caring for ageing parents and relatives.
Field Locker said the community could assist quantitative and qualitative research covering areas including healthcare and social care services, later-life financial planning, family decision-making, assistive technology, mobility, and other products and services aimed at carers and older adults.
David Berry, general manager at Field Locker, said: “Unpaid carers influence an enormous number of decisions, from healthcare and finances through to housing and technology, but they can be a difficult audience for researchers to reach in a meaningful way.”
