In his new role, Armstrong (pictured) will report directly to the chief executive and co-founder Kristina Prokop, and will lead the company’s work on new tools and alternatives to third-party cookies.

Amstrong, who will be based in the US, previously co-founded consumer-facing data and digital identity tool Lockr and business-to-business start-up Bombora.

He has also held executive positions focused on product innovation at ShareThis, Madison Logic and Ad/Fin.

Prokop said: “Rob’s depth of experience and the innovative mindset he brings to the team will be a great asset to our business.”
