Ex-Nielsen exec launches digital research agency

SWITZERLAND — Former Nielsen and GMI exec Simon Guy has launched a new digital research agency, DataChefs.

Based in Davos, Switzerland, DataChefs uses a global partner network and collaborative project platforms to deliver “digital research dishes”.

“Not a day goes by without someone talking about how MR can or should innovate, and there are plenty of cool ideas and new approaches out there, but these can seem out of reach,” said Guy, co-founder and CEO.

“That’s sometimes because ideas are developed by larger and more resourced competitors, or by innovators outside of the MR industry who have a lower profile, or simply because trusted suppliers don’t offer a wider range of services. What if everyone could easily tap into the most appropriate project ingredients, as and when they needed them, to create innovative research recipes?”
