Empower Translate hires chief revenue officer

Bates (pictured) previously spent over 10 years at translation company Global Lingo, most recently as vice-president of sales for the Americas region. 

At Empower, he will be responsible for all revenue generation processes.

Ruth Partington, chief executive, Empower Translate, said: “We are delighted to have Jonny, along with his extensive skillset and drive, with us for the next stage of Empower’s growth.

Additionally, the company has appointed Adina Salant as vendor manager. Salant has 15 years of experience in the translation industry and will be responsible for developing and nurturing the agency’s supply chain of freelance linguists.
