Andrews (pictured) was previously head of engineering at Dovetail and has also held roles including head of technology at Australian property marketplace Domain Group and head of engineering at Tyro Payments.

Dovetail has also appointed Sara Caldwell as head of customer experience, Tom Mansfield as head of marketing and Pirow Cronje as head of operations.

Dovetail was founded in 2017 by Benjamin Humphrey and is based in Sydney and San Francisco. Its customer insight platform is used by companies including Cisco, Comcast and Intel.

The new hires follow Dovetail’s Series A funding round, held last year and led by Accel, which raised $63m for the company.

Benjamin Humphrey, chief executive and co-founder of Dovetail, said: “The extended team is uniquely positioned to support Dovetail in our ambitious plans to help companies expand research across their organisations to uncover deep customer insights.”
