Discuss.io releases mobile tool

US – Video platform firm Discuss.io has launched a screen sharing tool allowing researchers to examine consumers’ mobile phone activity.

Mobile Screen Share, which is available on Apple and Android, will allow users to share their mobile phone screens inside a meeting room, and will allow researchers to view users’ real-time movements on their device.

Discuss.io said the tool would allow researchers to see respondents’ face, body language and hear their voice.

Mobile Screen Share has privacy and security controls in place, such as making screen sharing code triggered and allowing screen sharing to be paused to allow users to input sensitive data to their phone, such as passwords.

Jim Longo, chief strategy officer at Discuss.io, said: “We are addressing enterprise challenges that are enabling the corporate researchers of today to gather critical mobile insights and analyse them in a complete, comprehensive qualitative research platform.”
