US – Artificial intelligence digital sales assistant company Zoovu has secured $14m in Series B funding led by Target Global and Beringea.

Founded in 2006, the software platform allows companies to build, host and deploy digital assistants within their existing websites. The AI technology is used to guide customers through a conversational interface.

Headquartered in New York, with offices in London, Austria and Poland, Zoovu will use the funding to expand into Asia-Pacific and increase its investment in AI and behavioural analytics.

Rytis Vitkauskas, venture partner at Target Global, will join the company’s board of directors as part of the funding round.

Eyal Malinger, investment director at Beringea, said: “Zoovu’s digital assistants – driven by artificial intelligence – guide customers through the decision-making process as if they were having an insightful conversation with a member of staff.”
