UK — Dentsu Aegis Network has announced its acquisition of Tempero, a full-service social media management agency based in the UK.
Tempero’s business will transition into operating as the European arm of ICUC: Dentsu Aegis Network’s social media moderation and management agency. The company’s founder, Dominic Sparkes (pictured), will continue to lead the team.
Dentsu Aegis Network is part of Dentsu Inc — which recently announced that its year-on-year sales for November had increased by 1.2% — and is made up of eight global network brands: Carat, Dentsu, Dentsu media, iProspect, Isobar, mcgarrybowen, Posterscope and Vizeum.
“Tempero is a top flight social media management agency,” said Tracy de Groose, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network. “Bringing Tempero into ICUC adds another dimension to our full-service offering in the UK. We welcome Dominic and his 160-strong team to the company.”
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
