Bush (pictured right) has joined Demos from BritainThinks, where she was research director for six years.

In her new role, Bush will develop Demos’ methodology with the intention of putting people at the heart of the policy making process.

O’Brien (pictured left) will start in March and is currently director of external affairs at Social Enterprise UK, where he has spent four and a half years, with a previous role as director of policy and engagement at the Charity Finance Group.

At Demos, O’Brien will lead the think tank’s policy portfolio.

Glover (pictured centre) has been at Demos for more than four years and is currently acting head of research, having previously been deputy research director at the think tank.

In his new role, Glover will lead the launch of the Public Services 2030 Network at Demos, which is a movement of organisations committed to rebuilding and reforming public services, as well as the Unlocking Inheritance programme, which will explore what the UK’s new ‘age of inheritance’ means for the country.

Polly Curtis, chief executive at Demos, said: “People up and down the country are craving political and economic renewal. We are developing our methods, research and policy agenda to deliver this in partnership with the public.

“We see a different, more collaborative kind of democracy in the future. Our work in 2023 will be about turning that hope into reality.”
