Daughters of Sailors appoints former Kantar executive as partner

UK – Recruitment agency Daughters of Sailors has promoted consultant Pam Armstrong to partner, effective immediately.

Pam Armstrong

Launched in 2020, Daughters of Sailors is a flexible recruitment service offering in-house freelance support to market research agencies.

The business is a collaboration between market research executives Sarah Penny and Inger Christensen.

Armstrong has been a self-employed consultant working with Daughters of Sailors since 2021. During that time, she has been involved in the MRS People and Talent programme, including co-authoring a report on talent in the research sector.

Prior to Daughters of Sailors, she was a senior client director at Kantar Millward Brown, and has also held senior leadership positions at GfK and Chime.

Christensen said: “We’ve both worked with Pam as recruitment partners in the past and knew she’d share our values and work style. We’re looking forward to strengthening our relationship with Pam as a true partner as our business continues to grow.”
