She will report to Paul Turner, executive chairman of APD UK and MD of APD Australia.

The company has also promoted operations director Karl Fisher (pictured, right) to client services director. Fisher will support existing customers, grow new automotive business and implement client change.

Following the promotions, Whalley, who joined the business as chief executive in 2015, has moved to the position of director.

APD reported revenue growth of 32% for 2018.

Turner said: “Kathryn and Karl’s contributions to the growth of APD and vision for the future align with the ideals on which the business was started in 2003.”
